Those systems have made errors structurally difficult to make, and as a result, I rarely make mistakes, and enjoy the benefits of completing my work correctly on the first attempt. As a principal consultant or senior executive, I lead and manage high performing and effective teams to deliver great customer experiences and business outcomes. This is enabled by a clear vision, leveraging data and insights, making use of a growth-based iterative thinking mindset, and by creating new end-to-end (digital) solutions. This includes setting up a corporate strategy, an agile marketing strategy (brand, product, sales, content…), incubating and delivering new business models aligned to the strategic direction and commercial objectives of the organisation.


My expertise includes, but not limited to, customer centric competitive value propositions, channel specific Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, innovative product roadmaps, transition between distribution models (B2B, B2B2C, B2C, transactional, subscription basis), building a network of strategic partnerships, delivery of large complex cross-functional programs/projects, and the general management of sales, marketing, operations, IT/OT.

In short, I am a commercial and marketing driven (digital) business (transformation) leader with a strong understanding of IT/OT who delivers value-based innovation and strategies to organisations looking to grow revenue and scale, reduce operational cost, or protect from market disruption while enhancing its brand.


I started my career in Product Management and Product Marketing. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the career progression I’ve had so far because I had to grow through the ranks right from the bottom to senior leadership, learning and growing along the way.

Additionally, any of the “old school” product managers out there would know that Product Management equals “mini-CEO’ of the assigned product category. Run like an independent business inside much bigger organisations, I have managed Profit and Loss (P&L) statements of +£300M. And yet, my product categories were the “young siblings” of some global giants. This added extra complexities and challenges to an already difficult proposition in extremely competitive markets. Making use of some of the shared resources wasn’t always a given. I’ve therefore had to resort to more entrepreneurial measures to achieve my objectives. That taught me perspective and resilience, as well as how to navigate the political landscape of organisations.

I have worked for some of the biggest names in their respective industries (Canon, Nikon, Targus, Samsung, Baxi/BDR Thermea). I enjoyed these experiences primarily in European cities (Amsterdam, London) covering in some cases global, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and local value propositions in large enterprises, SME, and start-ups.

Since January 2019, I started building my experience in the Australian market, having worked for a select number of SME’s and start-ups in the Brisbane area.

I specialise in helping  businesses improve their business systems, including Quality, OHS & Environmental Management and IT systems, including website design and build, membership access control and business management software.  I also provide Cyber Security Awareness training for businesses.

I have 21 years’ experience in the engineering sector, initially in the UK automotive industry in the test and development sector.  Responsible for the delivery of new product testing and validation, involving test automation processes and measurements, Quality management systems, Engineering and system improvement processes, Innovation, Research and Development of engineering and automation techniques.

More recently in Australia I worked for an Engineering company specialising in water infrastructure installation and upgrades.  As Engineering Manager, I was responsible for project management, successful implementation of ISO9001 quality system and set up of key business software, moving the company systems and processes to a cloud platform.

In the last 4 years I have focused my passion for technology on building web applications, websites and helping to develop cyber security awareness training for employees for various clients in Australia and abroad.

Zoho One

Zoho One is a powerful all in one business system, sometimes referred to as the Business Operating System. This powerful platform by Zoho gives you 40+ applications and growing. There is an app for every part of your business. Where you would be paying for a CRM, a project management system, a subscription management platform, an accounting system +++ you would otherwise pay handsomely for each app disparate system and then pay to have them to connect via something like Zapier. In Zoho you can create any workflow you want, and if it doesn’t exist there is a code writer that allows you to make it yourself.

Salesforce

Salesforce is an enterprise grade platform that fits any size business. It is world class and is used by 80% of fortune 100 companies in America. There is a large qualified user base thanks to the fantastic learning platform and certification program called Trailhead. Salesforce is more sophisticated and refined than other systems. Firms need to weigh up cost with the need for refinement and accuracy. 

Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a comprehensive CRM and ERP system that brings the legacy power of the Microsoft suite and the Analytics of Power BI together to create a systems that is robust enough for governments. It connects to LinkedIn and can support a range of applications from finance to healthcare, manufacturing and more.

Infusionsoft/Keap

Originally Infusionsoft, they rebranded to Keap and released some other small business versions. The application has a drag and drop automation builder and is great for small business. It includes landing pages, email and SMS automation with the ability to API into other interfaces. You create custom journeys in no time at all and automate complex business processes. 

Active Campaign

A light email automation program which integrates well with the wider market, has SMS capability and is quite affordable as an entry level automation option. It’s great for enhancing the customer lifecycle through triggered emails such as a welcome series to new customers, an introduction sequence for people that downloaded your lead magnet or an abandoned cart sequence for anyone that did not go ahead with the purchase. 

Kartra

A website builder and automated sales pipeline and email system that combines the functionality of a number of other platforms into one. It is good for static campaigns and visually appealing sales pages. This is great for coaches and consultants that have a product that they want to sell and need to look good while doing it.
